Frequently Asked Questions                Q. Why are you doing this page? A. To provide a free alternative to some of the other Alumni pages available on the Internet where you have to pay to input your profile, or view other profiles online. Q. Is this site sponsored by or associated with USD 208 or the TCHS Alumni Association? A. No, while we are working with the Alumni Association, the Alumni Pages are part of the WaKeeney.com site sponsored in part by the WaKeeney Travel & Tourism board. We have created this site in hopes of helping make the TCHS Alumni Association a more proactive association. All Alumni Association officers are volunteering their time and effort so we hope to make their jobs a bit easier. Q. I don't know what year someone graduated, how can if find them without clicking on each class? A. You can view all of the people who have input profiles on one page by clicking on the "View them all HERE" link under the total number of profiles on the main page. You can also type the persons name in the "Search" box on the main page. Q. How can I start/stop receiving email from you? A. Click on the button that says "Edit Profile" on any of the pages. Login, and select I want to Start/Stop receiving email. Q. I forgot my username and password, what can I do? A. If you have forgotten your password or username you can click HERE and it will be emailed to you. If your email has changed and you forgot your password please send an email to alumni@wakeeney.com with your name and graduation year and we will reply with your login information. Q. I am having trouble adding pictures to my profile. What is wrong? A. There are several things to check. First make sure your picture isn't too large. The system will reject any picure over 1 MB in size, however if you are trying to upload a 500k file it may be timing out. Second, the pictures have to be in a format that web browsers "understand". These are JPEG/JPG, GIF, or PNG files. If you can't get your photo uploaded, send it as an attachement to alumni@wakeeney.com and we will be happy to add it for you. Q. Why are my picures smaller on my profile than the ones I uploaded? A. We adjust picture sizes in order to keep the web pages a consistent size. Q. Do I have to have a reunion this year in order to input my profile? A. No, while your class will not be listed on the tabs on the main page you can click the "Enter A Profile" button on any of the pages and input your data. You can go to any class by entering the 4 digit year in the box on the main page. Q. How can I suggest a change or addition to the site? A. We welcome all your suggestions/comments. Send them to alumni@wakeeney.com Q. What is being done with the information I input on my profile? A. The information you input will be used to assist the Alumni Association in maintaining their records. Your information will under no circumstances be given or sold to any third parties. Q. How can I help with the site? A. Bills, denominations no smaller than $100. ;-) You can help the site most my telling all the TCHS graduates you are in contact with about the site. People want new content on the sites they visit. Since the content on this site is driven by your classmates entering their profiles and you keeping yours updated, we need to get the word out. You can help the Alumni Association by becoming a member. The cost is minimal and you will be helping fund projects to improve the High School as well as provide scholarships for deserving Seniors. Q. What is the Scrapbook for? A. Anything you would like. Old photos of high school sporting events or parties, pictures of you on top of Everest, favorite teacher etc. etc. You get the idea. Q. Can I advertise my business on the site? A. Sure, you can advertise your business in your profile, or if you would like to have a banner ad on the Main page, contact us and we will send you our rates.
